I can't see the other pistol, but man, the armour is indeed awesome. It reminds me a bit of the padding used in American Football, like if it was used as the base and then worked on it until you had a very flexible, dynamic and kickass armour.
But more than that, I like the drama of the scene. Everything about this scene talk about tension. Just look at the outstretched hand holding the pistol and the enraged faces on both. Really really nice.
The last thing I noticed, which left me very intrigued, is how the lines differ in thickness in relation to the perspective. The tiger's lines are much thinner in comparison to the fox/dog's. It's nice. It adds a whole new dimension in showing who's more in the foreground.

All in all, awesome work.
